Vehicle registration is a critical process in Cambodia, as it ensures that all vehicles operating on the country's roads are properly identified, taxed, and insured. The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) and the General Department of Taxation (GDT) are the primary agencies responsible for vehicle registration in Cambodia. In this report, we will provide an overview of the vehicle registration process, the roles of MPWT and GDT, and the regulations governing vehicle registration in Cambodia.
