The film is set in 1955 and follows the story of Frank and April Wheeler (played by Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet), a married couple living in a suburban Connecticut neighborhood called Revolutionary Road. The neighborhood is a symbol of the American Dream, with its perfect houses and seemingly perfect families. However, beneath the surface, Frank and April are struggling with their marriage and their own identities.
