Playing LEGO City Undercover through this lens is oddly fitting. The game itself is a pastiche — a mashup of genre jokes, license-plate gags, and earnest platforming — and the repack continues that tradition in its own fashion by remixing distribution without changing the core gameplay. The neon-bright streets, the absurdity of disguises, the goofy missions — none of that diminishes. If anything, the repack amplifies the game’s central promise: unfettered, goofy exploration.
