Ishwar Padvi is a well-known Gujarati historian, scholar, and writer. He was born in 1932 in the village of Padva in the Surat district of Gujarat. Padvi has spent his entire life studying and researching the history and culture of Gujarat. He has written several books on the subject, including "Gujarat No Itihas", which is considered his magnum opus.
