Gandia Beach is situated in the municipality of Gandia, approximately 40 kilometers southwest of Valencia City. Its accessibility via the N332 and AP-7 highways, as well as direct train services to Gandia station, makes it a hub for both domestic and international tourists. The area’s history dates back to the Iberian and Roman periods, though Gandia itself was founded by James I of Aragon in 1261. The beach, however, gained modern prominence in the 20th century as Spain’s tourism industry expanded post-Franco era. In the 1960s and 1970s, Gandia transformed into a "sun, sea, and fun" destination, attracting visitors seeking affordable European holidays. The 1980s saw the rise of mass tourism, with the beach becoming a symbol of Spain’s Costa Blanca.
