Born on April 3, 1993, in Maplewood, New Jersey, Marques Brownlee grew up with a passion for technology and filmmaking. As a child, he was always fascinated by the latest gadgets and electronics, often spending hours taking them apart and putting them back together to understand how they worked. This curiosity eventually led him to create his YouTube channel, MKBHD, in 2009, when he was just 15 years old.
