Richie Rich is a cheerful and kind-hearted 12-year-old boy who lives with his parents, Richard and Regina Rich (played by John Larroquette and Michelle Nicastro), in a vast, opulent mansion. Despite his privileged lifestyle, Richie feels lonely and isolated, longing for friends and a normal life. When his parents are kidnapped by a group of villains led by the sinister Lawrence Vane (played by Tim Curry), Richie must use his wit and resourcefulness to rescue them.
