Unbeknownst to Miranda, Baddi, the boot camp's enigmatic and tough-as-nails director, had a proposition for her. Baddi had a daughter of her own, 16-year-old Emma, who was struggling to connect with her mother. Baddi believed that a daughter-swap could be just what both girls needed – a chance to experience life in each other's shoes and, hopefully, form a stronger bond with their respective parents.
